I’ve been wanting to do a woodland-themed garland for many, many months, and I’m very excited that the right objects and inspiration finally came together for me.
This garland conjures up images of girl scout camp, summer hikes, and rustic cabin getaways. It captures the magic of a walk through the forest with a handful of woodland flora and fauna including tall pines, toadstools, bears, skunks, deer, and chipmunks.
Can’t live without it?

Here are a few teaser shots of some of the Halloween garlands I’ve completed. There are still two designs to come. In fact, I’m waiting for one last paper ephemera element to come in the mail before I can complete my Art Deco Witch garland.
I’ve also got a new really awesome non-Halloween garland design completed that I’m going to unveil soon. Stay tuned!

Remember a few months ago, when I made some quick packaging for my garlands? I needed something in a pinch for Crafty Wonderland, but promised myself I would come up with a more permanent solution in summer when I wasn’t so busy with school. Well, I kept my word to myself* and I finished my new packaging designs this week.
Each package is similar, but features a different retro background pattern in soft, vintage colors. I love them. A lot! What do you think?
* Thanks me! You totally rock!
