Pumpkin Patch

Chas, Nattie and I visited one of the big pumpkin patches on Sauvie Island this past Saturday. We picked out and bought a pumpkin, ate some food, and brought home a bag of kettle corn. It was a lovely autumn adventure.

Vintage Halloween Photos

August 29, 2011

It’s time for another round of awesome vintage Halloween photos I’ve spotted on eBay during the past few months. Enjoy!

Sassy masked ladies! I love this one. I bid on it, but it became too expensive and I had to let it go. *sigh*
Same ladies—unmasked! One of the things I really love about this photo (and the one above) are the handmade Halloween skirts they are wearing! So cute!
So creepy. I totally dig the overall composition of this one.
Trick-or-treat!
Scary little skeletons!
This photo is so fantastic all around—the black kitty cat costume, the jack-o-lantern, the composition. Oh, how I pined to own this one, but alas, it slipped away and sold for $105! Holy cow!
Lovely ladies and a jolly jack! I actually snagged this one, and it is now in my collection :)
And this one isn’t really Halloween photo—although it has a black cat in it! I just really loved this photo, and picked it up on the cheap and wanted to share. I’m not sure what I’m going to use this one for yet, but isn’t this gal and her kitty an adorable duo? I just couldn’t pass it up.

Halloween Plush 2011

August 1, 2011

Halloween Bat Plush

I just stocked my Etsy shop with my Halloween Plush line. Each one is unique, and comes with a keepsake adoption certificate.

Pictured above is Gusty the Bat. He loves chocolate-covered crickets, exploring dusty attics, and the color orange. Gusty measures appox. 7″ high from the tip of his ears to the bottom of his body, and 10.5″ wide with his wings spread.

Batty For You

July 10, 2011

I’m making a small, limited edition series of  black bats and black cats for Halloween—only 10 of these guys total, with various spooky color and fabric combinations. No two are alike! This little guy was my test run. I think he is pretty damn adorable, and I really love his lavender bow tie.

What do you think?
