Handmade Ties

When I wrote about my new tie last week, the lovely Miss Elide suggested I try to make some myself. Thank you, Elide! It was a brilliant idea and the other night I sat down at my sewing machine for a test-run.

I made the plaid tie you see here—I wore it to work on Sunday—and I also made a seafoam green one. I am officially obsessed with making these ties! Now I can’t wait to wade through my fabric stash, selecting prints that I think will make lovely additions to my new tie collection.

Awesome tie! Love your style. I had a pair of plastic-lensed cat eye glasses in high school. I was one of those people who always wished they needed glasses :P Love your blog lady!
