Back in September I mentioned that I was going to introduce two new holiday apron designs for 2010. Well, I can’t believe the time has come to unveil them. Here they are!
KITSCHY RETRO CHRISTMAS REINDEER APRON
“Oh by gosh, by golly,
It’s time for mistletoe and holly,
Fancy ties and Grandma’s pies,
And folks stealing a kiss or two,
As they whisper Merry Christmas to you”
This apron is inspired by ‘A Christmas Story’ (my favorite holiday film), vintage holiday albums I listened to on my parents’ record player as a kid, and my collection of holiday elves and reindeer from the 1950s.
Features a fun retro print apron skirt with waistband & ties made from a contrasting red and white gingham cotton print. The skirt is adorned with white jumbo rickrack accents & handmade deer and heart appliques featuring hand-embroidered details.

SNOW QUEEN HOLIDAY HOSTESS APRON
This beautiful, fabulous retro apron is inspired by Snegurochka the snow princess from Russian folklore, Queen Frostine from CandyLand, and the enchanting images I’ve seen of the Icehotel in Lapland.
This feminine design is made from a silky sheer blue fabric with silver glitter snowflakes. Waistband and pockets are made from beautiful, white textured vintage fabric. Ties are made from ice blue cotton. Navy Blue rick-rack accents complete the look.
