I’ve had Halloween aprons on the brain lately. I have a lot of awesome ideas for this year’s collection. Last night I spent a good amount of time at Powell’s looking through Hallowe’en books for inspiration. The best book, I think, was one all about the history of the holiday. It went into great detail about how most people celebrated it during the 20s—’40s, and included many drool-worthy photographs.
So what do I have planned for this year’s Hallowe’en apron collection? You can expect a lot more fun with tulle, as well as some fancy details courtesy of my recently-required ruffler attachment. I’m also really excited to incorporate some lovely new retro fabrics, too, like this one I received in the mail yesterday:
There are other surprises in the works that I’m really excited about, but I’m not ready to reveal them quite yet. You can expect to see the new Hallowe’en aprons in my Etsy shop in early September.
