Flapper Girl will be at Le Bistro Bazaar this Saturday, May 2. I’m excited to be a part of this event, which is a hip flea market akin to those in Brooklyn, San Francisco, and other kick-ass cities. So in addition to a fresh batch of handmade felt cupcakes and a huge stash of handmade ruffle-bum panties, I will be bringing altered clothing, a bunch of vintage treasures, and other neat stuff. I’ll have great clothes, shoes, CDs, vintage afghans & aprons, jewelry, decor, knick-knacks, rad bowling balls, fabric & craft supplies, and many more fun surprises.
More about this event:
Le Bistro Bazaar is a quarterly collaboration of crafters, hoarders and creative entrepreneurs who bring all their gusto to Le Bistro Montage and set up shop in the form of vintage, used, screen-printed, boutique and new local designer boutique clothing, books, magazines, records, house goods, hand-crafted jewelry and all things knick nacky. Item pricing is mostly in the $1 – $10 range and DJ Frankeyh will happily test-drive any records up for sale. There will also be a raffle so people can enjoy an array of items donated by participating vendors.
