The Cheap Art & Craft Show opener at Reading Frenzy last night was really fun! All the local handmade goods look great in there, and last night’s event had a great all-around vibe (what else could expect from Reading Frenzy, though? That place is awesome). By the time I got there around 7 pm, they had already sold one of my tote bags (the one with an ebroidered robot on it). That, of course, made me feel really good! If you didn’t get a chance to check it out last night, don’t worry—the show is running through the month of December, but you might want to go sooner than later if you’re planning on buying gifts.
If you want to help out a good cause while you do your Xmas shopping this year, the Portland Mercury‘s online charity auction is up and running. All proceeds benefit Sisters of the Road, who support and feed the homeless population here in Portland.
