I saw these first three photos on Pinterest this weekend, and was reminded of a self-portrait I took back in 2005 (photo #4).
The textures and monochrome palette create a lovely moodiness, and there’s something a little melancholy and mysterious about all these.
Since I was feeling drawn to them, I thought I’d share them and indulge in a little lighthearted gloominess. I can’t really help it—winter starts to feel really long around this time of year.
The second one is so awesome, and of course the one of beautiful you!! Once in a while you just need to let yourself feel that way, however I personally can’t wait for spring to hurry up and get here already :/
Yeah, this time of year just kills me. Too much gray and rain and cold for too long now.
